We're Cutting Sheets Pricing
We're thrilled to announce a major price cut for Google Sheets users. As of April 29, 2026, repeat Market Data formulas in your spreadsheet bill
0 credits
. That makes the typical live dashboard up to
50× cheaper to run
.
Build the dashboard you actually want, instead of the dashboard your daily quota lets you afford.
## Key Features
A formula in any cell costs 1 credit the first time it runs that day. Every recalc after that is free. Sheet refreshes, Google's automatic recalcs, anything else that triggers a re-run: 0 credits. The counter resets at the opening bell, right alongside your daily credit allowance.
  • Massive savings for live dashboards
: A 100-cell dashboard that refreshes 50 times an hour used to cost 5,000 credits an hour. It now costs 100 credits a day.
  • Your quota is now a formula budget
: Free users can run 100 formulas. Starter users can run 10,000. Build to the size of your plan, not to the size of Google's recalc loop.
  • Tab renames don't double-bill
: We match on sheet ID and cell coordinate, not tab name. Reorganize your workbook freely.
  • Automatic for everyone
: No setting to flip, no plan upgrade required. Live on every plan, starting now.
One-click Refresh From The Menu
Refreshing your sheet just got a lot easier. Two new menu items live under Extensions → Market Data:
Refresh Current Sheet
rebuilds every Market Data formula on the active sheet, and
Refresh Current Sheet Errors
re-pulls only the cells that returned an error. No sidebar required, no waiting on a panel to load. Formulas now also run without the sidebar open at all, so scheduled triggers and shared dashboards work even when end users never touch the add-on UI. With the new free recalcs, any broken cell on your dashboard is a one-click, zero-cost fix.
Also this month
:
  • Every API error now ships with a numeric code in the cell (e.g. [ERROR-402], [ERROR-404]) for faster troubleshooting and support tickets.
  • Removed the "All sheets" refresh option, which was hitting Google's per-execution time limits.
  • Updated the Help link to the new docs home at https://marketdata.app/docs/sheets/
